Is the heart of rock-n-roll still beating? According to local Dallas jewelry designer Jacky Sylvie, “Heck Yeah!”. Just a little ole gal from Texas with a dusty box of records, Jacky couldn’t bear the thought of tossing out her beloved vinyl just to sit in a landfill surrounded by the buzzards. Clever experimentation led to the creation of wearable art and Texas Tarts was born- or rather- recycled! This exclusive line of jewelry gives portable music a whole new meaning. Fashioned of reclaimed vinyl records, each piece is handmade from the first cut and shaping to the final gentle sanding. And, because of each album’s unique qualities, every last Texas Tarts piece is one-of-a-kind.
Thanks to Texas Tarts, now the music can go on forever without impacting our environment!
